Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how LaunchKit ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit trylaunchkit.com, purchase our products, or connect your Meta (Facebook) Business account to LaunchKit.
1. Information We Collect
- Information you provide: email address when you purchase or contact support.
- Payment information: processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Usage data: pages viewed, links clicked, approximate location, device type, and referring source.
- Cookies and similar technologies: for functionality, analytics, and advertising.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To deliver the LaunchKit digital product you purchase
- To process payments and prevent fraud
- To provide customer support
- To send transactional emails (receipts, download links, product updates)
- To measure advertising performance and improve our site
- To comply with legal obligations
3. Sharing With Third Parties
We share information only with service providers:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Meta (Facebook) — advertising measurement via Conversion API (email and name hashed before transmission)
- Vercel — hosting infrastructure
- Supabase — encrypted database for storing connected Meta Business credentials and cached ad data (see Section 4)
- Email service providers — for receipts and product access
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Connected Meta Business Manager Access (LaunchKit Customers)
If you are a LaunchKit customer and choose to connect your Meta (Facebook) Business account to LaunchKit, the following applies:
Why we ask for access. LaunchKit manages advertising on your behalf as part of the product you purchased. To do this we need to read and (with your permission) take action inside your Meta Business Manager — for example, view campaign performance, pause an underperforming ad, or adjust a budget.
Permissions we request via Meta OAuth. When you click "Connect Meta" you will be shown a Meta consent screen listing the exact permissions requested. These are:
- ads_read — read your campaigns, ad sets, ads, and performance metrics
- ads_management — create, update, pause, or delete campaigns, ad sets, and ads on your behalf (only used when you have asked LaunchKit to take action)
- business_management — see which Business Manager(s) and ad accounts you have access to, so we know where to operate
What we store. When you authorize LaunchKit:
- Your Meta access token — stored encrypted at rest in our Supabase database. Used only to make Meta API calls on your behalf.
- Your Meta user ID and the IDs of Business Managers and ad accounts you have granted access to.
- Cached ad data — campaigns, ad sets, ads, and performance metrics we read from Meta to display to you and run our analyses.
- An audit log of actions LaunchKit took on your ad accounts.
How long we keep it. We retain your token and cached data for as long as you are an active LaunchKit customer or until you revoke access (whichever comes first). When you cancel LaunchKit or request deletion, we delete this data within 30 days. See Data Deletion Instructions.
How to revoke access. You can disconnect LaunchKit from your Meta account at any time:
- Open facebook.com/settings → Business Integrations and remove LaunchKit, or
- Follow the Data Deletion Instructions to remove both Meta access and any cached data we hold.
What we do NOT do. We do not sell, share, or use your Meta ad data for any purpose other than delivering the LaunchKit service to you. We do not use it to train AI models, build audiences for unrelated parties, or share with anyone outside the service providers listed in Section 3.
5. Your Rights

- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information

Connected Meta access tokens and cached ad data are retained for as long as you are an active LaunchKit customer; both are deleted within 30 days after you revoke access or request deletion.
